All food sold at the market must be made in a commercial kitchen – or the vendor must have a Cottage Food License.  A temporary food service permit is required when food is cooked or portioned onsite.  The fee is $25 in Northbrook and $15 in Winnetka.  No permit is necessary for commercially, prepackaged goods, whole fruits and/or water/soda only. It is each vendor’s individual responsibility to follow all State, County & City/Village requirements. 

All food vendors will be required to submit a Certified Food Protection Manager Certification and/or ANSI – accredited Food Handler Training License.  

Cottage food vendors must submit their cottage food license.
